The first one was the exacto knife. I used that one to cut shapes out of paper and carving my clay into the shape I wanted and also to cut my clay. I learned a lot from this tool bc I never knew that u could cut paper with it I thought you could only use that with clay. The second picture is a needle. I used this one to thread my string to make different shapes of my art work and different colors. I didn't really learn that much from it but I learned how to use it with different shapes and sizes of my art.
What is your least favorite material to work with and why? How did you deal with it, what didn’t you like about it. Please explain. I tried really hard to use the wire. I saw an idea like this on Pinterest and it inspired me and they used word so I though I'd give it a try. It was a lot harder than I thought. I had to deal with it by using wire tools to bend the wire into the shape that I wanted. The only thing I didn't really like about it is trying to bend the wire because the wire was really thick.
Regardless of whether you liked or disliked a project, which one did you learn, grow, or developed the most from? Please explain. I actually really liked this project. What I learned from this was all the different and unique ideas you could use for textured and designs. I also love using glase. I like the way it looks and how it's so glossy. I developed a lot and grew so much from how to shape the plate and how to use everything
What was your favorite material that you used this year? Why do you like working with it? I liked working with this peice because I loved witching with the yarn and I liked adding all the different colors to it and I love to draw and I love yarn so this was the perfect peice for me.
When some people were making the cranes I wanted to Finnish my figurative project so I wasn't able to make the cranes. But I did help out with hanging them up in the front of the school. I put the wire through the wings of the crane and helped fix the wings if the got bent or messed up.
This documentary was manly about the shapes and sizes of the origami. The artists and scientists reinterpret the world in paper, and bring forth a bold mix of sensibilities towards art, expressiveness, creativity and meaning. They had their struggles but was able to get through it all.
The only challenge I really had durning this project was trying to make the snowflake as white as i could since the background was black. What I would probably do in the future is paint over the snowflake with a white paint pen to make it more white. I picked this project because I wanted to make new Christmas ordements for my tree. This was the first thing that came to my mind. My cup didn't turn out exactly how i thought it would turn out. The glaze is very uneven and I think I could of done a better job with making the bottom of the cup more even. What I thought about the process of making the cup and tray was fun. I really like to glaze and I like the way it looks. I didn't really like my cup as much but I'm in love with how my tray turned out and i deiced to bring it home. |
